My name is Dan and I love to play games. RPGs, board games, card games, dice games, video games and anything else I can get my hands on. I am a grad student at the University of Delaware and an educator. I started this blog to share and get feedback on my gaming ideas.  I try to take games farther than just the sum of the rules will take you. When something is more than the sum of its parts it is called a gestalt, hence the name Gestalt Gamer. Please feel free to take any of my methods and use them to enrich your gaming.

My name is Annie-Laurie, and I love games.  I especially love board games and RPGs because they’re the best way to spend time with people you like.  My bill-paying alter ego works at a credit union in Baltimore.  I majored in Vocal Performance at the University of Delaware, so music and acting are somewhat of a passion of mine, which surprisingly gives me an advantage in RPGs.  I’m not a GM, so I can’t provide the insights of my fellow bloggers here. But I am quite the avid roleplayer, so I’m here to offer a viewpoint from the other side of the DM screen. If gaming is more than just dice, than it follows that role-playing is much more than being a gamer. That’s where I come in.

My name is Kelli and coincidentally, I also love games. I have always enjoyed playing board games, video games and card games, but when my friends got me into my first RPG game (SWSERPG) it was all over. I am currently pursuing a degree in English and Medieval Studies. I am also very involved in theatre on campus; directing is one of my passions and I’m a huge Shakespeare nerd. I am joining my friends here on More Than Dice to offer another player’s perspective and to encourage newer gamers to embrace their characters and amp up their games with effective roleplay.
